1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Yardy, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Yardy is a platform for discovering local yard sales, estate sales, auctions, and other time-limited community sales events. We aggregate publicly available listings from third-party sources and allow users to post their own sales. We do not list permanent storefronts (thrift shops, antique malls, pawn shops, etc.).

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Yardy.

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post (sale listings, photos, messages). By posting content, you grant Yardy a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to post any content you share.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings

• List prohibited items (firearms, stolen property, illegal substances)

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users

• Scrape or collect data from Yardy for commercial purposes

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service

6. Third-Party Listings

Yardy aggregates sale listings from third-party websites. We do not verify the accuracy, completeness, or legality of third-party listings. We are not responsible for any transactions, disputes, or damages arising from third-party listings. Attend all sales at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

Yardy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: inaccurate listing information, failed transactions, property damage, personal injury, or loss of data. Our total liability shall not exceed $100.

8. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that we deem inappropriate. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The Yardy name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without permission.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Yardy after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Charleston County, South Carolina.
